#177871 - With my suitcase packed I ordered a taxi for the airport and poured myself a glass of red wine until the taxi arrived. With the water up to my neck I took deep breaths and with one final breath I slipped below the cool blue surface and searched the water for somewhere to anchor myself, deeper and deeper I went, the sea becoming cooler as I powered down through this underwater heaven, using powerful scissor kicks with my strong thighs and one arm, the other firmly holding the cucumber, I reached the sandy bottom 25 feet down and skittering along the sandy bottom exploring it’s depths for that elusive anchor point, then in the distance a blurred shape came into view, a large rock. The next day was bright and sunny and I was up at the crack of dawn making breakfast and taking in the views of the surrounding area, mountains as a backdrop and the sparkling azul sea in the distance – this is just perfect.
